The Home of Tranquility Equine
Tranquility Equine EFL is based at our Long Lover Farm & stables in Halifax,West Yorkshire. The farm has a small, livery yard which has been in my family for over 40yrs and runs alongside Tranquility.
There has always been a strong undercurrent of natural horsemanship and calmness on the yard, with the same methods successfully used over the years with the Limousin cattle and other animals that used to be here.
We are so lucky to have such a lovely environment, rural – yet close and accessible to the hustle and bustle of the urban commuter routes, with easy access to the M62 which is 10 mins away.

We are passionate about the ways in which horses can offer an enormous amount of help toward enabling people to change negative behaviour, become more confident, overcome obstacles, change their thinking and improve cummunication skills.
We pride ourselves in having a safe, lovely tranquil environment, nice facilities, offering a choice of different areas to work in, with or without the horses both outside or undercover. We are committed to providing the very best experience for everyone attending our sessions.
